On Sunday November 5th, 2017 members of the Toronto Murray Club took part in the Scarborough Remembrance Service in the Scarborough Civic Centre. The service was taken by the Zone Command of the Royal Canadian Legion. During the service wreaths were laid by various Legion, military, government, service clubs and fraternal groups.

This was the first time the club participated and the Toronto Murray had the very great honour of being the first group to lead the fraternal and service clubs. The wreath was laid by the Worthy President, Lynn Barr along with the Branch Club Secretary, Michael Thomas, on behalf of the branch club.
