Apprentice Boys Make Donation to Local NHS

Wednesday 22 Apr 2020

On Tuesday 21st March, members from the Apprentice Boys of Derry General Committee visited the Western Trust drop off point and Altnagelvin Hospital in Londonderry to make a donation of vital food, water, clothing, health and cleaning products for the staff and patients currently fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope and trust that this donation eases the burden on some of those struggling at this very difficult period.

Our thanks goes to Colin Campbell, Secretary, Mitchelburne Parent Club, for organising the purchase and delivery of the items and to David Cooke, Vivo Donemana, who also made a kind donation of refreshments.

General Secretary, William Moore, also passed on a letter of thanks on behalf of the organisation.
